Select Rating I owned this DVRs and I think it was a great investment. The installation is easy (at least the part of connecting the cables). I spent hours hiding the cables inside my walls, but that I think is not a fault of the equipment. The cables were long enough for my area and after they were in the wall it was a matter of connecting the cameras to the DVR. It makes a great deal if you intend to monitor a small are which is preferably well lit at night. I had other DVRs and I thin the "motion" recording feature in this one works very well. All I have to do it check the DVR from my computer and search for videos where motion was detected. The android app also works great for live monitoring. I read other customers complaining about difficulties installing a hard disk. I simply added my 1 TB ... (Posted on 11/12/12)

Select Rating The price was very good on this camera system. I ordered two and am very please with them so far. It is by far cheaper to order them with out a hard drive and purchase and install one seperately. I recommend at least a 500 gb hard drive for the 4 ch units. (Posted on 11/9/12)

Select Rating This is a great system with some nice features for the price. I was able to get the system up and running on two different networks (home and work) without too much effort. Network viewing might be frustrating if your router is not UPnP enabled and you do not have any experience configuring port forwarding. The iPhone app has a bug but worked great once I figured out a workaround (Posted on 9/20/12)
