Flexible Operation
The DVR in the kit has a number of recording modes to suit your needs. You can program it to record at certain times, record continuously, or set it to start recording when motion is detected or using the alarm mode. It can also be used with different capacity hard drives and types of cameras, so you can build the perfect surveillance system for your particular requirements.
Continuous Recording for 2 Weeks
Utilizing cutting edge H.246 compression, the installed 500GB hard drive can capture and store continuously recording footage for two weeks for all the four cameras. Use motion detection recording capabilities for even longer storage times.
The DVR that Multi-Tasks
Thanks to Pentaplex, this DVR can perform up to five things at once. You can playback, backup, view live images and allow network access (e.g. for a Smartphone) while the DVR continues to record.
Instant Email Alerts if Activity Detected
This system is designed to send an email alert, complete with photo of the activity, if any motion is detected, or if any camera experiences video loss.
Easy USB Backup
Built-in USB port provides an easy option to transfer your files to a PC, backup, or send to others.
View from a TV or PC monitor
A TV can be used with an AV cable, while a PC monitor can be used with a VGA cable. This gives you more connection options while viewing activity captured by your cameras.

24 infrared (IR) LEDs activate automatically in low-light or no-light situations to allow you to see up to 20 meters (65feet) away, and deactivate once lighting conditions are brighter.

Select Rating This is a great system for the money, I did a lot of research before buying. Night vision is good, after a little time playing around with the DVR you will get use to it the settings and control. These cameras have a great picture . Overall I think this is a great system for the money, I'm very happy with them. (Posted on 11/1/12)
