Not bad for the money Review by Justin
OK. If you're looking for a system that will get license plates and make out facial features in HD. Then this is not the system . If you're looking for a general inexpensive system with a hard drive. With decent daylight features search and playback mode than this is the system for you. The cameras are cheaply made with little or no focus options. The network setup is a little difficult. And could be more user friendly But what you want for under $350 (Posted on 7/5/12)
good Review by Brian Lee
This Camera security system is worth the money. Be prepared to stay on the phone for about 1-2 hrs to get the camera's set up on the web and to access the camera's on your phone. The color is not the best, but it is good enough. The night vision is also ok, you can make out a face on a person but not good enough to read a car tag from 65 feet. Even the camera's in the day time can read a tag from 65 feet. (Posted on 7/1/12)
totally a neat product Review by Duller
tried to set up the date on Feb 29, 2012, and the unit does not allow that date, meaning that on leap years the recording date will be inaccurate (not very good if you are trying to use the camera as backup for investigations). And my sense was that the technical support person did not sound very technical at all. I suspect he is merely a gatekeeper. It is sad because this could be a really neat product. (Posted on 6/10/12)
