Description of Basic Functionality
Auto Iris
Auto Iris Lenses have built in motors to control the amount of light that reaches the imaging sensor. Auto Iris lenses are generally used in outdoor applications where lighting levels are not consistent, and or where shutter speed changes are not acceptable. DC Driven lenses are most common in the CCTV industry.
Auto Back Light Compensation
Backlight compensation is video gain done either manually or automatically to correct the exposure of subjects that are in front of a bright light source.

Select Rating As other reviewers note, instructions are not terribly clear, but coupled with other reviewers guidance, I had this up and running withing 10 mins. I'm relatively savvy regarding networking and found it to be no problem. Please note that port forwarding is required from within your router to access from the internet. I plan to buy another unit (Posted on 6/25/12)

Select Rating The camera is very cool, and just what we need to keep an eye on our home when we are gone. The product worked well when wired, but accessing through the network turned out an impossible task. The instructions translated from Chinese are worthless. There is no good on line support, you are really on your own with this one. (Posted on 5/31/12)
