The DVR-H9108V-1TB is an 8 channel, fully integrated, real time, hardware-based digital video recorder. This standalone DVR is based on an embedded Linux operating system and includes a remote control for easy setup and operation. With Pan/Tilt/Zoom (PTZ) camera control, network access and USB2.0 backup, this DVR is perfect for the home or small business.
The DVR uses the latest in compression technology, H.264, to be able to record amazing quality video without using up a large amount of storage space. The H.264 compression allows crisper, cleaner images to be recorded and is capable of weeks of recording on motion detection mode. A variety of recording modes are supported by this DVR. These include scheduled recording, motion detected recording, continuous recording, or a combination of any modes.
In addition, this DVR supports Remote View via smartphone and 3G mobile technology!

Select Rating This product was promptly delivered. However, there was a problem. The instructions to unlock the box were not included. I returned the first one thinking it was a faulty box. When the second one did not function either, I called the sales and was given instructions on how to unlock. It was easy to set up, the video quality is good, and I'm really impressed with the software that allows me to watch and review over the internet or even my Iphone. Overall, I would recommend this product but make sure you have the instructions to unlock the DVR. (Posted on 6/26/12)
