Installation and configuration with wire is a breeze. To configure the wireless option was much more complicated but not impossible. I attempted to do it myself with the instructions and found it very difficult. I called tech support and had the wireless configuration completed in no time. The camera is very clear and works well. I can now watch my dogs while out of the house from anywhere using my iPhone.

I installed the cctv system about a week ago and have been very pleased. It was easy to connect to the network and the quality of the picture - during the day and at night - is excellent. The only knock against the system is that the android app to view the picture on your phone works only part of the time.

When buying an IP camera for home monitoring, there two things you should keep in mind.
Image compression mode-There are three kinds of format,H.264,MPEG4,MJPEG,while the H.264 compression gets you the same video quality as the other compression at lower bit rates, which can be translate into less bandwidth and less storage.
Resolution and Lens- In order to get a good quality picture, you need a good lens for good resolution. Make sure you can get a variety of lenses for your cameras for different types of scenes.
It is good for you to have a wireless IP camera, easy installation, save trouble with cables and wires. Data transfer via cable or wireless IP camera is much more stable in comparison to the analog.
Moreover, IP cam supports remote recording, with additional modem, can record all the cameras anywhere. It is properly a good idea for preventing the theft break into our house or office.
